Pilates is a life-changing wellness and fitness method. At Turning Tide Pilates West Auckland, we offer individually tailored Pilates classes and Pilates Reformer classes grounded in current science and the original teachings of our visionary founders Joe and Clara Pilates.

So that we can support your individual health goals, each of our Pilates classes are taught in a one-to-one, two-to-one, or small group setting, with a maximum of five students. 

All new clients need to take an initial Introduction and Assessment session so we can design your programme according to your goals and needs. We also discuss a plan and give you feedback on your likely timeline for progress.


The Pilates Method is a complete, holistic, safe and effective form of exercise. When practiced regularly, you will see positive changes that leave you feeling more relaxed, invigorated, taller, stronger, and with a profound sense of well-being. Learn healthy breathing practices to powerfully integrate your mind-body connection, calm your nervous system and of course achieve all your fitness goals.

Pilates Online One-to-One Sessions

Sometimes it can be difficult to make it into our studio. But, that doesn’t mean you need to miss out on a Pilates session. We offer one to one classes and coaching online. You still get the expertise and guidance of our teachers from a location that suits you. Practice and learn with us via online one-to-one sessions.

Mat Pilates

Using classical and evolved exercises we will build strong fundamentals for your transformational Pilates practice. Guiding you through the five Pilates spine shapes, the Pilates approach to breathing, plus the core, and the Pilates principles.

Chair Pilates

Enjoy a Pilates based movement class on a chair that will bring health to your mind, body, and spirit. Learn to activate your core and revitalise the spine and limbs in a safe and low-impact way. Good for restoring balance and mobility as well as strength building.
